Yellow Star Produce & Food Processors grew from Florence Okot's family business, which began in 1997 after she saw both the cost of caring for children and the widespread challenge of malnutrition in her community. Today the company transforms locally sourced grains and legumes into affordable, nutritious foods while working with women outgrowers and pursuing a mission of enriching lives through sustainable food.
